Heraklion, Greece poised to host CEV Beach Volley European Cup Final 2025

The third edition of the CEV Beach Volley European Cup Final will be taking place from November 6-9 in Heraklion, Greece. The event, specifically designed to stimulate the growth of Beach Volleyball activities across Europe, will feature the hosts plus seven clubs per gender progressing from the preliminary phase scheduled for this coming September / October. The Beach Volley European Cup Final was previously held in Balikesir, Türkiye, and Montpellier, France, where more established as well as up-and-coming players delivered a real show in an effort to secure European glory for their respective clubs. 

The interest in the event has been growing steadily since its introduction in 2023. The 2025 edition capitalises on domestic competitions organised by as many as 26 National Federations – an all-time record – and three Zonal Associations (BVA, MEVZA, and WEVZA), thereby showing that clubs play an increasingly important role in supporting the overall growth of the sport. 

To top it all, the CEV Beach Volley European Cup Final 2025 will be taking place at the TUI Magic Life Candia Maris resort, a proud member of Metaxa Hospitality Group, on the idyllic island of Crete. Following the highly successful delivery of a Nations Cup qualifier back in May, Heraklion is now set to host another top-tier international sporting event. This competition will help strengthen Crete’s international profile and promote sports tourism in the region. It will be co-organised by the Region of Crete, the Hellenic Volleyball Federation (HVBF), the Municipality of Malevizi, and Metaxa Hospitality Group under the authority of the CEV.
