Istanbul, Turkey, March 30, 2021. The charismatic and energetic captain of Fenerbahce Opet ISTANBUL as well as of the Turkish women’s national team, Eda Erdem Dündar, will be spending another three years with the Yellow Angels! Eda has been playing for Fenerbahce for more than a decade, actually since 2008 and she is a true Volleyball legend and household name in Turkey and well beyond.

Eda has been wearing for many years the blue-yellow striped jersey of Fenerbahce with much pride and dedication, doing so at multiple FIVB Club World Championships, countless matches in domestic competitions as well as in the elite CEV Champions League Volley. Back in 2012, she helped the Yellow Angels claim their only Champions League title to this date and she obviously still wishes to achieve even more success with the Fenerbahce team. Earlier this season, she broke an amazing record as she broke the threshold of 750 points scored for Fenerbahce in the Champions League alone.

While Eda hopes for the extension of the contract to be mutually beneficial, the many fans of the Yellow Angels obviously welcome the good news and hope the middle blocker will help their favourite team achieve many more victories and claim additional trophies both domestically and internationally.
