With the completion of the Group Stage of the #CLVolleyW, the top teams of Europe will turn their focus on their domestic battles. One of the biggest matches in the continent will take place in Türkiye, where two powerhouses Fenerbahce and Eczacibasi will face off this weekend, while Italian and Polish contenders will try to complete the weekend smoothly.

Without a doubt, all eyes will be on Türkiye this weekend, where two undefeated CEV Champions League Volley group leaders, Fenerbahce Medicana Istanbul and Eczacibasi Dynavit Istanbul will take the court against each other in the 18th round of the Turkish Sultanlar League. Both teams have the same winning record with 15-2 so far, and Fenerbahce is at the top of the standings with 47 points, 2 more than Eczacibasi. Therefore, if Eczacibasi manages to win the clash in three or four sets, we will see a new leader in Türkiye. Otherwise, Fenerbahce will keep their top place, and also they have a huge opportunity to increase the gap with their closest follower. Therefore, both teams will definitely try to play at their highest level.

A relatively comfortable weekend is on the way for Italian CEV Champions League Volley quarterfinalists, A. Carraro Imoco Volley Conegliano, Savino Del Bene Scandicci, and Numia Vero Volley Milano. The leaders of the domestic league with a perfect record, Conegliano will host Chieri ’76, while Scandicci and Milano will visit Bergamo and UYBA Busto Arsizio, respectively. Conegliano’s first and Scandicci’s second places will not change independent of the results, but Milano will see this leg as an opportunity to take the third place back from Igor Gorgonzola Novara.

The Polish #CLVolleyW contenders will also seek straight-set victories this time. Both Developres Rzeszow, PGE Grot Budowlani Lodz, and BKS Bostik Bielsko-Biala will hold relatively less challenging games opposed to weaker opponents, and all of them will try to pass the weekend in the best way.

The weekend promises excitement across Europe, with Türkiye hosting the most anticipated clash between two #CLVolleyW quarterfinalists, Fenerbahce and Eczacibasi. Meanwhile, Italian and Polish contenders face less challenging fixtures, providing an opportunity to maintain or strengthen their standings with smooth victories. As the domestic season go on, fans will look forward to thrilling performances from the continent’s top teams.
