Russell Holmes: Rzeszow is the perfect place to create a great team

Rzeszow, Polamd, September 26, 2014.  Russell Holmes is one of the new players, who strengthened Asseco Resovia RZESZOW before the new season of the Polish PlusLiga and the 2015 CEV DenizBank Volleyball Champions League - Men.  The middle blocker, who won this year’s edition of the FIVB World League with the US team, will be back in Poland after two years.

"I am really grateful to be playing for Asseco Resovia and for another chance to be back in Poland.  I am happy that I could play in one of the best teams in the Polish league and be part of the great history of this club.  Going towards the season, I really have big expectations.  We all have great expectations because our team and the Polish league are at a high level.   I would like to win the title in Poland.  Thank you for this opportunity," said Russell Holmes

Holmes spent two seasons at JASTRZEBSKI Wegiel and then played for ISTANBUL BBSK.  "Jastrzebie, where I played, was really small, Istanbul was really big and Rzeszow is in between.  I feel very comfortable here.  I think Rzeszow is the perfect place to create a great team," he added.
