Zoran Terzić“We all knew that this day would eventually come. I have to thank my players and the Volleyball Federation of Serbia for their continuous support. I will always be at disposal for any kind of help because I still feel this team as my own."
In one of the longest tenures in the sport, Terzić has been the head coach of the Team Serbia since May 2002, securing as many as 20 medals from major international competitions in the process.
These include silver at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro and bronze at the postponed Tokyo 2020 Olympics. The list of accolades features gold (2018) and bronze (2006) from the FIVB World Championship, silver at the 2015 World Cup, plus three bronze medals from the FIVB World Grand Prix (2011, 2013 and 2017). Moreover, he helped Serbia claim three (2011, 2017 and 2019) EuroVolley titles to go with two silver (2007 and 2021) and a bronze (2015) medal. Under his guidance, Serbia won the CEV European League three times in a row (2009, 2010 and 2011), as well as a bronze medal (2012) from the same competition – to go with bronze at the Baku 2015 European Games and silver from the 2009 Universiade held on home soil in Belgrade.
