Key Info

- Round competition dates: 06-09/01/2022
- Teams are allocated according to the CEV European Ranking (01/12/2020)
- Single round robin tournament format
- Up to eight 1st Round Pools will be organised, with a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 4 teams in each
- Teams are allocated to pools using the serpentine system, with organisers as head of their pool
- 1st placed teams will qualify to the 2nd Round
- Further vacancies may be available depending on the registrations and the number of pools in the 1st and 2nd Round
- If a non-equal number of teams across the pools, results against the lowest placed teams will be discarded to compare all 2nd placed teams over an equal number of matches

The Final Round will be played with two pools of four teams each (single round robin), the two best placed teams from each pool will continue to the semifinals and all remaining teams will leave the tournament. On the Final day the bronze and gold medal matches will take place.


The competition requires six competition days (that includes 1 rest day between the pool phase and semifinals). The teams arrival is as usual -2 days before the first competition day and departure is either day after pool phase or after the Final matches. Maximum stay period is 9 days (including arrival and departure days).
