Skra looking to make it five times in the #CLVolleyM semi-finals
2019 CEV Volleyball Champions League - Men

Luxembourg, March 18, 2019.  PGE Skra BELCHATOW are looking to continue where they left off as they travel to Russia knowing that they only need two sets to secure a spot in the 2019 CEV Volleyball Champions League semi-finals.  Here we take a look at the two teams head-to-head record as well as their history in the competition.  Make sure you follow the match, and all of the other seven quarter-finals on EuroVolleyTV, the digital home of European Volleyball! 

Head-to-Head
·    Zenit SAINT PETERSBURG and PGE Skra BELCHATOW meet for the second time in the Champions League after the Polish side's 3-1 home win last week.
·    PGE Skra have a W12-L10 record against Russian teams in the CL. They have won seven of their last nine, including their last four.
·    Prior to the home quarter-final Zenit SAINT PETERSBURG had not played a team from Poland in the CL.

Zenit SAINT PETERSBURG
·    Zenit SAINT PETERSBURG are among this season's Champions League quarter-finalists as they topped Pool C in the fourth round, in what is their debut season in the competition.
·    In the fourth round Zenit won all six of their matches, three by a 3-0 and three by 3-2 scoreline.
·    The last seven CL titles have been won by Russian teams since Italy's TRENTINO Itas won in 2010/11: Zenit KAZAN (5 titles), Belogorie BELGOROD (1) and Lokomotiv NOVOSIBIRSK (1).
·    György Grozer has scored 141 points so far this season, third-most behind Taylor Averill (151) and Maciej Muzaj (142).

PGE Skra BELCHATOW

·    PGE Skra BELCHATOW reached this season's Champions League quarter-finals as one of the best three second-placed teams among all pools.
·    PGE Skra could reach the last four for the fifth time, after 2007/08 (3rd place), 2009/10 (3rd), 2011/12 (2nd) and 2014/15 (4th). In 2008, 2010 and 2012, they did so as the hosts of the Final Four tournament.
·    A Polish team has yet to win the CL. The best result is a runners-up finish by PGE Skra (2011/12) and Asseco Resovia RZESZÓW (2014/15).
·    PGE Skra won three of their six 4th Round CL matches this season, fewest of all quarter-finalists.
·    After winning the quarter-final 1st leg PGE Skra won successive CL matches for the first time this season.
·    Jakub Kochanowski (69.23%) had the second-best spiker percentage in this season's fourth round, behind CHAUMONT's Taylor Averill (70.00%).
