The DOL was chaired by CEV Vice President and Jury President Philip Berben and attended by many prominent guests, including the Mayor of Culture and Sports of Copenhagen, Mrs. Pia Allerslev, and the President of the Danish Olympic Committee, Niels Nygaard. Erik Jacobsen and Miroslaw Przedpelski, i.e. the chairmen of the Danish and Polish Volleyball Federation respectively, were quite evidently also in attendance as their countries are getting ready to host this amazing Volleyball “fiesta”.
