Arkas IZMIR has high hopes taking on world bronze medallists TRENTINO
2014 CEV DenizBank Volleyball Champions League - Men

Izmir, Turkey, November 5, 2013. After losing their away game in Switzerland to Energy Investments LUGANO as well as their home debut with BERLIN Recycling Volleys, Turkey’s champions Arkas IZMIR will try to claim their first victory in the prelims of the 2014 CEV DenizBank Volleyball Champions League – Men as on Wednesday they host Diatec TRENTINO of Italy at the Atatürk sports hall.
“We did not start this competition as we wanted but we would like to exploit the home advantage to edge Diatec TRENTINO on Wednesday” says the spokesperson of Arkas Sports, Ugur Özden. “If we win this game, we keep alive our chances to finish first or second in the group and so also to make the Playoffs 12. We trust our players as well as our coaching staff but we also know that our fans will come to the stadium and cheer on our team. As long as they support us as they always do, we are not afraid of any opponent. We just hope that on Wednesday all Volleyball fans here in Izmir will come to the Atatürk sports hall for this match with the bronze medallists from this year’s Club World Championship” he concluded.
