Italian ‘Panthers’ and Turkish ‘Tigresses’ to clash in ‘Match of the Week’
2019 CEV Volleyball Champions League - Women

Luxembourg, March 11, 2019. Last year’s bronze medal winners Imoco Volley CONEGLIANO of Italy managed to qualify for the quarterfinals of the 2019 CEV Volleyball Champions League – Women only courtesy of their comprehensive home victory over LKS Commercecon LODZ in the last round of pool play. Their journey in the competition and quest for a third straight CL medal resumes on Wednesday when they host Turkish powerhouse Eczacibasi VitrA ISTANBUL in the ‘Match of the Week’. Eczacibasi claimed six wins in a row in Pool B and they will be a very hard nut to crack for Imoco Volley – as they travel to Italy with a star-studded roster including the likes of Tijana Bošković, Kim Yeon-Koung and Jordan Larson to name just a few.
