MISSION:

  • Promote, support and control the establishment of the annual and legacy projects of the Zonal Associations, Small Countries Division and National Federations in collaboration with their respective economic and political authorities and dedicated to the development of all levels of Volleyball and Beach Volleyball in their country or region irrespective of gender or ability.

  • Establish and promote the availability of all development tools and technical materials necessary to deliver development projects (management models, strategies, specific documentation, evaluation and control tools, teaching modules and courses and technical seminars).

  • Collaborate and support the CEV President, Executive Committee, Board of Administration, Administrative Director and any other responsible person or group nominated by the CEV President, Board of Administration or Administrative Director for the continued evaluation of the feasibility, consistence and efficiency of the projects submitted to the European Confederation.

  • Develop and adapt the CEV Development Plan 2020 Vision under the leadership of the CEV President, Executive Committee, Board of Administration, Administrative Director to ensure the objectives, the budget, the planning and the resources of the Development Plan 2020 Vision are met.

  • Supervise and control the creation and management of the CEV Development Centers ensuring there is a legacy of education and development of all levels of Volleyball and Beach Volleyball in all parts of Europe.

OBJECTIVES:
  • Increase regional based events to promote participation level Volleyball with a focus on the participation of young people age 9 to 14 by educating administrators, coaches, referees, leaders and creating opportunities for fans to follow players, clubs and national teams by using electronic & written media outputs.

  • Stimulate the future generation of “CEV Stars” by developing a “CEV Volleyball Stars of today program. Using these Stars of today to inspire the “CEV Stars of Tomorrow” by promoting the sporting, educational and social values of Volleyball.

  • Focus the National Federations on the work of the forming sustainable clubs ensuring their collaboration with their respective national federation in order to develop the CEV Volleyball Stars of Tomorrow.

  • Work with Zonal Associations, Small Countries Division and National Federations to develop an access to all program in their Region or Country in line with the CEV Development Plan 2020 Vision and the exchange of documents and educational materials related to all Volleyball development programs so that best practice is shared throughout Europe.

  • Support the Zonal Associations, Small Countries Division and National Federations in the establishment of their development plans prior to the submission to the CEV.
