Ticket sales for EUROVOLLEY POLAND 2017 pool phase to start on Monday!
2017 CEV Volleyball European Championship - Men

Warsaw, Poland, January 18, 2017. The Organising Committee of EUROVOLLEY POLAND 2017 has just announced that the second stage of ticket sales for the 2017 CEV Volleyball European Championship – Men will start on Monday, January 23, at 12:00 (CET).

At this stage, tickets will be available for the preliminary round matches in Gdansk, Szczecin, Katowice and Krakow, and Playoff (August 30, 2017) and quarterfinal matches (August 31, 2017) at Spodek Hall in Katowice and Tauron Arena in Krakow. Tickets are available online at eBilet.pl: https://www.ebilet.pl/en/sport/sporty-druzynowe/siatkowka/.

Gdansk will be hosting the matches of Pool A with hosts Poland, Serbia, Finland and Estonia on August 24, 26 and 27. Unlike with other phases and pools, tickets for Pool A will be sold for each single match. Depending on the category, tickets for matches with Poland national team range in price from 50 to 170 PLN. The prices of tickets for other matches vary from 40 to 150 PLN.

Szczecin will host Pool B matches with Italy, Germany, Slovakia and Czech Republic on August 25, 27 and 28. The prices of tickets to attend both matches on a given day range from 40 to 100 PLN.

Krakow will be the host of Pool C matches featuring Russia, Bulgaria, Slovenia and Spain on August 24, 26 and 27, with prices for tickets to attend both matches on a given day ranging from 30 to 150 PLN.

Katowice will be hosting the national teams of France, Belgium, the Netherlands and Turkey, with matches on schedule for August 25, 27 and 28. In this case, the prices of tickets for both matches on a given day range from 30 to 100 PLN.

Fans who regularly support the Polish national teams can take part in a pre-sale of tickets for the EUROVOLLEY POLAND 2017 Opening Ceremony and Match at PGE National Stadium in Warsaw on August 24.


To be able to participate in the presale, you have to:

•    Buy (or have bought) any ticket/tickets for any other EUROVOLLEY POLAND 2017 match (pool phase, Playoff, quarterfinals, semi-finals or medal matches), BEFORE the start of the presale.
•    Have bought online a ticket for matches of Poland’s national teams (men or women) within the period 2015-2017 and had agreed to receive the newsletter from eBilet.pl.

Any fans, who fulfil any of the two afore mentioned conditions will receive a special link, enabling them to take part in the presale.

Presales will start 24 hours before the official sales open. The official ticket sale for the EUROVOLLEY POLAND 2017 Opening Ceremony and Match will be divided into three stages, each of them preceded by a presale.

The opening of sales for the historic event at PGE National Stadium is scheduled for the first half of February. Prices will be announced on February 3, 2017.

Tickets are still available for Playoff, quarterfinal, semi-final and medal matches of the 2017 CEV Volleyball European Championship – Men at https://www.ebilet.pl/en/sport/sporty-druzynowe/siatkowka/.

Various types of discounts are on hand, e.g.:
•    Family and group tickets (3+1)
•    Free admission for kids under 2 years of age
•    Free admission for disabled persons plus a discount for the person’s guardian (50% discount in the lowest price category ticket)

About the Championship


The 16 best teams in Europe will play a total 36 matches at EUROVOLLEY POLAND 2017: 24 in the preliminary phase, four Playoff matches, four quarter-finals, two semi-finals and two medal matches.

All medallists from the 2015 edition co-hosted by Bulgaria and Italy will compete at EUROVOLLEY POLAND 2017: titleholders France, 2015 silver medallists Slovenia and bronze medal winners Italy who last summer settled for second place at the Rio 2016 Olympics.

The tournament also features hosts Poland (2014 world champions), Serbia (gold medal winners from the 2016 World League), the always strong and star-studded Russia, the ambitious teams of Belgium, Bulgaria, Germany, Finland and the unpredictable Czech Republic, Slovakia, Estonia, Spain, Turkey and the Netherlands, each one with their remarkable history in the sport.

EUROVOLLEY POLAND 2017 will be a chance to feel the excitement resulting from a competition featuring the very best teams of the continent while cheering for your favourite team on their way to the podium!

Almost 230,000 fans are expected to attend EUROVOLLEY POLAND 2017: more than 40,000 in Gdansk, around 11,000 in Szczecin, nearly 44,000 and 75,000 in Katowice and Krakow respectively and more than 60,000 for the Opening Ceremony and Match at PGE National Stadium in Warsaw.
