This award was presented to her in recognition of her years of dedication and commitment to our beloved sport of Volleyball and it is a real testament to the work that Ms Fleming has done throughout her career and professional life within the UK, Europe and at World level. Special recognition was also given to her continued work within the environment of female leadership in sport.

This award is for all of us who strive and give all of our time, energy, hope, dreams and love to Volleyball. To be recognised in such a manner is truly amazing for Scottish and European Volleyball. I am indeed overwhelmed and grateful to those who nominated me for this award and for the support of my Federation and CEV President Aleksandar Boričić.”
