Luxembourg, February 7, 2019. Igor Gorgonzola NOVARA won their fourth match in the 2019 CEV Volleyball Champions League in straight sets. At the PalaIgor, the team coached by Massimo Barbolini defeated Minchanka MINSK 3-0 and, now, lead Pool C with four matches won without dropping a single set.
• Igor Gorgonzola NOVARA is the only team with a “clean sheet” so far: the Italian team has won 12 sets and lost 0 in their first four 2019 CEV Volleyball Champions League games.
• Paula Yamila Nizetich was awarded MVP after a monster performance: she scored 16 points with three aces and 61% of success rate in attack.
• Over 1,500 people attended the game, including a group of Italian high school students who also joined the pre-match practice and met with the teams in the morning.
• Celeste Plak was the best server of the game: she scored four winning serves, one more than Nizetich.
• The experienced Belarusian player Aksana Kavalchuk joined the game during the second set and was the best attacker of her team (42%).
