More kids to enjoy Volleyball during summer break in North Macedonia
News from the National Federations

Skopje, North Macedonia, June 11, 2019. The school year has ended, therefore it is time for sports, and it is time for Volleyball! The CEV School Project ‘Play Volleyball, grow with it’ continues to inspire young people in the Republic of North Macedonia – and it did so in conjunction with the very start of the summer break, when pupils have more time to familiarise with the game.

More than 30 school-age children, together with their coaches, came together on Sunday to show there is much interest for the game in the Balkan country. In addition to that, the kids did not only learn the technical skills, but also the fair play philosophy, which is an integral essence of Volleyball and sports in general.

The smiling faces at the Forza sports hall in Skopje reminded people of the previous two events successfully held in Skopje and Veles in conjunction with the CEV School Project, thus reinforcing the hope that in the upcoming summer, these children will deepen their curiosity for Volleyball and maybe will actively engage in the training process.

Those who are involved in Volleyball on a regular basis are eagerly looking forward to September when the Macedonian national team will make their debut appearance at the CEV EuroVolley 2019 in the group, which is due to take place in Ljubljana, Slovenia.
