Russia and Armenia strengthen cooperation to grow the game
News from the National Federations

Moscow, Russia, November 28, 2019. The Volleyball Federations of Russia and Armenia discussed programmes and plans to strengthen their cooperation at a meeting held in Moscow on Wednesday, November 27.

The Secretary General of the Volleyball Federation of Armenia, Mr Karen Asmaryan, had a productive meeting with the President of Russian Volleyball Federation and CEV Vice-President, Mr Stanislav Shevchenko.

The two officials discussed plans to strengthen the existing cooperation between their respective organisations, including the delivery of joint meetings and coaching seminars.

Mr Asmaryan expressed his gratitude to the Russian Volleyball Federation and Mr Shevchenko for the assistance and support provided to the activities run by the Armenian Federation, towards its continuous growth and development over the last few years. Mr Shevchenko emphasised that Russia’s Volleyball family is always ready to support their Armenian colleagues and friends – doing so working together as one team.
