Impressive TV coverage for European qualifiers coming up this weekend
2011 CEV European Championships - Men & Women
Luxembourg, May 20, 2010. A total of 12 tournaments are coming up this weekend across Europe for the second qualifying round along the way to the 2011 CEV European Championships. A series of double round-robins will distribute a total of 6 spots for the final rounds of Europe’s most prestigious Volleyball competition to be held next year in Austria/Czech Republic (men) and Serbia/Italy (women).
These qualifiers will be enjoying quite an impressive TV coverage with a total of 10 Pools being aired by the respective national broadcasters and some more TV stations having acquired the rights to air the matches also in third countries, i.e. not simply where the competition is being held. With the only exception of Pool C and E being held in Ukraine and Belgium respectively for the women’s division, all other ties will enjoy some TV coverage. In the men’s competition, with Pool E being played in Ankara, apart from local channel D Spor, Italy’s RAI and Romania’s Neptun TV have also acquired the rights to show the matches of their respective national teams.
For those who may want to feel the atmosphere of great Volleyball a detailed TV schedule is available in the attached PDF file as well as right here. All times are local.
