The Turkish city of Alanya will be playing host to the fourth edition of the CEV Beach Volley European Cup Final, with the event scheduled for November 5-8. This competition has been going from strength to strength with each edition and helps cement the pivotal role that clubs play in growing the game at all levels. Last year, the event held in Heraklion, Greece, ended with France’s Ré Beach Club and Ukraine’s Sunrise Beach Sports Academy triumphing among men and women, respectively.
“We are delighted to welcome the CEV Beach Volleyball European Cup Final to Alanya from 5 to 8 November. Alanya has become one of Türkiye’s leading beach sports destinations, and hosting another major European Beach Volleyball event is an important step in strengthening this identity. We believe this competition will not only bring high-level club Volleyball to our city, but also contribute to Alanya’s international promotion, sports tourism, and year-round event vision. On behalf of Alanya Municipality, we look forward to welcoming all teams, officials and Beach Volleyball fans to Alanya,” says Osman Tarık Özçelik, Mayor of Alanya.
“We thank the Turkish Volleyball Federation as well as their local partners in Alanya for their readiness to deliver an event which has grown with each edition since its introduction in 2023 and its premiere successfully held in Türkiye as well, namely in the city of Balikesir. The CEV Beach Volley European Cup has been designed to provide further competition opportunities to our players and to enhance the role that Beach Volleyball clubs can play in the overall and sustained growth of the sport,” says CEV President Roko Sikirić. “With every edition, the competition has seen a steady increase in participation among National Federations and Zonal Associations. With a wealth of experience in the delivery of major Beach Volleyball events and with Alanya slowly but surely cementing its status as a premier destination for beach sports, we are confident that the organisation of the CEV Beach Volley European Cup 2026 Final has been placed in very good hands,” he adds.
“The awarding of the 2026 CEV Beach Volleyball European Cup Final to Alanya is a great milestone for Beach Volleyball in Türkiye and for the continued growth of club competitions in Europe. The European Cup provides clubs and athletes with a unique international platform, while inspiring the next generation of players and strengthening the Beach Volleyball community across the continent. We are grateful to CEV for their confidence in Türkiye and in Alanya as a host destination. We would also like to thank the Alanya Municipality and ALTAV for their strong partnership and dedication to the development of international sports events. Together, we are committed to delivering an exceptional championship that reflects the values, quality, and spirit of European Beach Volleyball,” comments Alper Sedat Aslandaş, Vice-President of the Turkish Volleyball Federation.
The competition is already in full swing on a domestic level, as the CEV has homologated as many as 27 national events / tours for 2026 plus two zonal competitions – whose winners will secure the right to contest the Preliminary Phase of the CEV Beach Volley European Cup scheduled for late September and early October.
