BeachvolleyClub Bratislava and more specifically their Team 1 was the dominant force at the 2025 edition of the Slovak Beach Volleyball Club Championships organised by the Slovak Volleyball Federation. By securing top honours from their domestic competition, they also made sure that they own the right to represent Slovakia in the preliminary phase of the CEV Beach Volley European Cup 2025.
The competition featured six and four teams in the men’s and women’s divisions, respectively. The event represented a major step forward for the further promotion and development of Beach Volleyball club activities in Slovakia. Earlier this year, the country had also hosted a zonal competition among clubs from across the Middle European Volleyball Zonal Association (MEVZA), where the men’s and women’s teams of BeachvolleyClub Bratislava had finished second and third, respectively. Clubs from Slovakia are yet to compete in the CEV Beach Volley European Cup and there are high hopes that BeachvolleyClub Bratislava will want to seize such an opportunity this year.
