CEV Volleyball Cup Men Confirms its QuarterFinals Matchups

They had to go on different paths to get to this point in the competition, yet any of the remaining eight teams in the CEV Volleyball Cup could very well win the trophy.

Following the conclusion of the group phase in the CEV Champions League, four of the teams ranked third (best third-ranked team continued in the Champions League) joined the CEV Cup. The remaining half of the quarterfinals is made up of the teams that have been going through the competition and came out victorious in the playoff preceding the quarterfinals.

 

Teams coming from the CEV Champions League Volley: Montpellier Volley UC (FRA); ACH Volley Ljubljana (SLO); ČEZ Karlovarsko (CZE); Knack Roeselare (BEL).

Teams advancing from the CEV Cup playoff: Blueenergy Daiko Volley Piacenza (ITA); Vala Groupp Modena (ITA); PGE Skra BEŁCHATÓW (POL); Greenyard Maaseik (BEL).

With names such as Earvin NGapeth, Bruno Rezende in Modena’s roster, or Ricardo Lucarelli, Yoandy Leal and Robertlandy Simon for Piacenza, just to name a few, the competition promises a lot for the fans in these remaining stages.

The quarterfinals matches will be played home and away on the 7/8 February and the 15th of February.
