Without a doubt, all eyes will be on Türkiye in the match between the two #CLVolleyW participants, and CEV Champions League Volley teams will play against CEV Cup squads in Italy and Germany this weekend.

One of the biggest clashes of women's volleyball will take place this week: The reigning CEV Champions League Volley titleholders VakifBank Istanbul will visit the other power holder, Fenerbahce Opet Istanbul, in the 17th round of the Turkish Sultanlar League.

Lastly, teams passed their opponents on their fifth matches in the CEV Champions League Volley. VakifBank is currently in second place in the charts with only one defeat, whereas Fenerbahce is third with four failures. Therefore, it might be a good chance for "Yellow Angels" to decrease the gap. On the other hand, the undefeated leader of the league, Eczacibasi Dynavit Istanbul, will have no battles this weekend; therefore, VakifBank will seek to come closer to them.

In the match played in the first half of the season, VakifBank succeeded in beating Fenerbahce in four sets, and now the home team also wants to take revenge and celebrate the victory in front of their huge fans.

CEV Champions League Volley squad Igor Gorgonzola Novara will host the CEV Cup participant e-work Busto Arsizio in the 17th week of the Italian Serie A1. Before this match, Novara took a significant victory against SC Potsdam in #CLVolleyW, and the Busto side suffered a three-set-defeat versus THY Istanbul in the first playoff clash of the CEV Cup.

Things could be better for Busto in the league as well: In their total of 16 matches, they only took seven victories and are currently placed in the eighth position. Now, it will be an excellent opportunity to break their curse and start to rise on the overall standings. Novara is in the third position with three victories, and they aim to get the victory without losing any points.

Other CEV Champions League Volley squads of Italy, A. Carraro Imoco Volley Conegliano and Vero Volley Milano will take the court against Chieri '76 and Wealth Planet Perugia, respectively.

Another worth-following clash of the weekend will be played in Germany: Two of the league's top three teams, SSC Palmberg Schwerin and Allianz MTV Stuttgart, will face off in the 14th leg of the German 1. Bundesliga.

Palmberg Schwerin lost to Savino Del Bene Scandicci in the CEV Cup recently, and Stuttgart took a notable victory against LKS Lodz in the Pool D of the #CLVolleyW. Since both teams have turned their eyes to the domestic league now, this battle will promise a good quality of volleyball.

There will be an abundance of good clashes this weekend: Besides the massive fight between two of the most elite teams in Türkiye, Italian and German leagues will bring CLVolleyW squads and CEV Cup participants to each other. All of the clashes will surely be important for teams to get better in standings and show their power to all the Europe.
