Helena Cazaute trades Milano for Istanbul with Move to VakifBank, Orvosova joins from Roma

VakıfBank has strengthened its roster with French spiker Helena Cazaute. An official contract has been signed with the 28-year-old player who most recently played in the CEV Champions League Final-Four with the Italian team Numia Vero Volley.

Turkey's team with most international titles has transferred Helena Cazaute. An official contract has been signed with the 28-year-old French spiker.

Born in France on December 17, 1997, Cazaute previously played for VC Gruissan, France Avenir, Beziers Volley, RS Cannes, ASPTT Mulhouse, Reale Mutua Fenera Chieri '76 and most recently Numia Vero Volley Milano.

The successful spiker, who also played in the CEV Champions League Final-Four held in Istanbul with the Italian team, won the French League twice, 1 Challenge Cup and 2 French Cups.

Cazaute, who won the most valuable player award in the French League in the 2020-21 season, also received the best spiker award in the same season.

The yellow-blacks also added Czech opposite Gabriela Orvosova to its squad.

 

Born on January 28, 2001, Orvosova played for VK UP Olomouc, BKS Bostik Bielsko Biala, PGE Rysice Rzeszow and SMI Roma Volley during her career.

 

The 24-year-old player won 1 Challenge Cup, 1 Czech League, 3 Czech Cups and 1 Polish Super Cup with her club teams
