OK HERCEG NOVI lose home match to multiple Belgian champions

European Cups rookies OK HERCEG NOVI of Montenegro could not repeat their achievements from the 32^nd Finals of the women’s CEV Volleyball Challenge Cup 2023 as they lost their home match with Belgium’s Asterix Avo BEVEREN in four sets (16-25, 19-25, 25-23, 20-25) in the first leg of the 16^th Finals.

The multiple Belgian national champions delivered a much better performance than the hosts did – even though OK HERCEG NOVI at least managed to take one set from their well-rounded opponents. OK HERCEG NOVI will be trying to make up for this loss next week when they play Asterix Avo BEVEREN in Belgium on December 21, 2022. Nova Marring and Tatjana Bokan top scored for the winning and losing sides, respectively, each one registering 23 points.
