After the main round of the national league, the German play-offers of #CLVolleyM will take the court in the Winners Stage, while it will be a relatively comfortable weekend ahead for the squads in Italy.

Two CEV Champions League Volley teams that advanced to the playoffs, BR Volleys and VfB Friedrichshafen, will hold their first matches in the Winners Stage of the German 1. Bundesliga.

BR Volleys finished the main stage in the first place, and their closest follower was Friedrichshafen. Therefore, these top two teams started this round with 8 and 6 points. In their first clashes, they will meet Swd Powervolleys Duren and Luneburg. Of course, their first aim will pass their rivals without letting any surprises happen and continue their advantageous positions in the national league.

Three group leaders of the CEV Champions League Volley will have matches against proportionally weaker opponents: The undefeated leader of the domestic league, Sir Sicoma Monini Perugia, will face Piacenza in the 18th round of the Italian SuperLega.

The gap between Perugia and the vice-leaders Trentino is seven victories and 19 points. Therefore, the result of any of the clashes will not change the leader; however, Perugia will seek another win to maintain their supremacy in the league.

Even though the leader is clear in Italy, there is a huge competition for the other top positions: The other CEV Champions League Volley quarterfinalists, Itas Trentino and Cucine Lube Civitanova, will play against the teams that are placed in lower ranks in the charts. So, the main goal is simply winning the matches without losing any sets. The difference between these two is only one victory; therefore, an unexpected failure will take much more from them.

Another direct quarterfinalist of the #CLVolleyM, Halkbank Ankara, will face Arkasspor Izmir in the 18th round of the Turkish Efeler League. Right now, Halkbank is in the lead with 16 wins in 17 matches, and Arkasspor is in the third position. The result is, therefore, significant for HalkBank to maintain the gap.

The defending CEV Champions League Volley champions Grupa Azoty ZAKSA Kedzierzyn-Kozle will visit Projekt Warszawa in the 23rd round of the Polish PlusLiga. The teams are placed one after another in the charts, making this match worth following since both teams will surely put a great effort on the court.

The most anticipated clashes will be held in Germany this weekend, where two CLVolleyM playoff participants want to start to Winners Stage with clear victories. In other national leagues, the most elite squads of Europe will take important clashes to secure their superiority in standings against less strong teams.
