CEV and Mikasa unveil official EuroVolley 2026 balls
News
This year’s EuroVolley will spark a real Volleyball fever across the whole of Europe and even further beyond – and the continental flagship competition for national teams will do so with the addition of newly designed, truly iconic volleyballs featuring the colours associated with the countries due to host the final weekends – Italy and Türkiye for men and women, respectively.
The CEV and their partners at Mikasa joined forces to design balls that are truly distinctive and can capture the attention and imagination of players and fans alike – with the white area a ‘vintage’ element bringing back memories from the days when volleyballs were predominantly of this same colour. The design is therefore a combination and blend of modernity and tradition – and the balls will add further identity to the CEV EuroVolley events due to unfold later this summer and whose winners will not only crown themselves European champions, but also qualify for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games.
Roko Sikirić“The balls have been designed to further reinforce the profile and identity of the CEV EuroVolley. I am sure that players and fans alike will like their truly distinctive features and immediately associate the balls with a competition that represent the real pinnacle of European Volleyball. The countdown has begun for a majestic Volleyball party to mesmerise the whole of Europe.”
