CEV announces official partnership with Midas
News
In a move that is testament to the ever-growing appeal of the CEV’s inventory and properties, an unprecedented sponsorship agreement has been reached with Midas, whereby the brand acquired exclusive rights as the CEV Crypto Exchange/Stock Trading Official Partner for the upcoming CEV EuroVolley 2026 Women in Türkiye. It is the first such partnership in the CEV’s history and it shows the sort of interest and commercial appeal that goes with the flagship competition for women’s national teams.
The CEV EuroVolley 2026 Women will start in late August and will be taking place across four host countries – Türkiye, Czechia, Azerbaijan, and Sweden, with the semis and medal matches due to be contested on September 5-6 in Istanbul at the iconic Sinan Erdem Sports Hall. This is where home favourites Türkiye will be trying to retain the title they claimed back in 2023 in Brussels – the first in the country’s history.
“Since the new CEV leadership took office in 2024, our ambition has been clear: to strengthen the value of our competitions and build a stronger, more modern and more sustainable CEV for the benefit of our National Federations, clubs and athletes. Commercial partnerships such as this represent another important milestone in that journey and are fundamental to strengthening every pillar of European Volleyball,” says CEV President Roko Sikirić. “I welcome Midas as our Official Crypto Exchange/Stock Trading Partner for the CEV EuroVolley 2026 Women in Türkiye and look forward to a productive collaboration.”
“We are happy to be part of the CEV EuroVolley 2026. It is one of Europe’s biggest sporting events reaching millions, and seeing our national team compete in the tournament makes this partnership even more meaningful. We wish Team Türkiye and all participating teams every success throughout the competition,” says Egem Eraslan, Founder & CEO of Midas.
