JASTRZEBSKI Węgiel - Jihostroj ČESKÉ BUDĚJOVICE
- Due to the fact that a group of Czech players regularly come to Jastrzębski Węgiel's matches, one of them was given the opportunity to read with the match speaker the names of Jihostroj Ceske Budejovice players in his native language before the match. Jastrzębski Węgiel fans welcomed this initiative with ovations.
- The match was watched by 1,692 spectators at the Jastrzębski Węgiel’s hall.
- After the match, a group of fans from the Czech Republic took a photo together with representatives of the Jastrzębski Węgiel Fan Club and the host team, which was proof of the very good relationship between them.

- Eduardo Carisio, Jihostroj Ceske Budejovice's starting setter, could not play in the match in Jastrzębie-Zdrój due to an injury.
- For Jihostroj Ceske Budejovice coach Andrzej Kowal, it was the first official match in Poland since he stopped working in PlusLiga.

We started not so good, but we succeded to find solutions and new spirit during the game which are good things. And also because it was the last game before the Christmas stop and it’s nice to finish this period like this, have a bit rest and to go again for the rest of the season."

- Andrzej Kowal (Head Coach): "The first set was really good and we kept our rhythm of the game. Then we lost this rhythm. If you want to win against Jastrzębski you must to keep the rhythm. It was big difference, especially in the serve-reception. Jastrzębski Węgiel has a big potential in service. If our efficiency in side-out was good, we fought, but we did not keep the rhythm, especially in the second part of the third set. In general, I congratulated my guys and said that this was a good match for the future. For us the most important period will be in January."
