• This is the third match between A.Carraro Imoco Conegliano and Allianz MTV Stuttgart.
• In 2020, only the first leg of the quarter-finals was played in Germany (Conegliano won) before the stop due to Covid, while on 15 November there was the first leg with a 3-1 victory in Stuttgart for the Italian champion team.
• In the first leg match in Stuttgart the top scorers were US star Kelsey Robinson Cook for A.Carraro Imoco Conegliano (21 points) and Stuttgart's US opposite Kristal Rivers (21 points).

• A.Carraro Imoco Conegliano has not lost a match yet this season: 10/10 in the Italian league, 3/3 in the CEV Champions League Volley and 1/1 in the Italian Supercup.
• Joanna Wolosz, the captain of the Italian Panthers, is back. She was out due to an injury in the last CEV Champions League Volley match.
• Quote from the coach Daniele Santarelli: "We went through a difficult period with a lot of injuries (...) but the team reacted great, putting in proud and great application. The results on the field were not affected and all the players called upon have always responded great, finding ways to be useful to the team. (...) Now just 48 hours away we have this round of Champions League awaiting us with a tough team like Stuttgart that we have already faced at home. It wasn't an easy match and it won't be easy tomorrow either. They are a team with international experience and good players. Allianz MTV STUTTGART

• Stuttgart has reached the semi-final of the German cup with a 3:1 win at Aachen.
• In the league, Stuttgart is currently sitting in fourth place.
• They have big games ahead in December, against all of top three in the VBL.
• Ivana Vanjak made her debut last match against Beveren after battling injury.
• It is Stuttgart’s sixth attendance in the Champions League.
• Biggest achievement in international club volley: quarterfinal Champions League 2019/2020 against Imoco Volley Conegliano, quarterfinal Champions League 2022/2023 against Novara and runner-up in CEV-Cup 2021/2022 against Eczacibasi Istanbul.
• Stuttgart has just won the German Championship the second time in a row.
• After having Tore Aleksandersen for the last three years as a head coach, Konstantin Bitter took over this year due to Alexanderson's illness.
• Headcoach Konstantin Bitter: "We are playing against the best team in the world right now, even away in Italy. That  will be a challenge. But it is one of these games, why we all do Volleyball.
