A. Carraro Imoco CONEGLIANO - PGE Rysice RZESZÓW
- First warm-up set for the two teams, point-to-point until 15-15, with Conegliano extending their lead from mid-set thanks to Wolosz’s turn on serve and Plummer’s attacks (7 points in the set with 71 % attack efficiency).
- The second set was more competitive between the two teams. Conegliano takes the lead to 20-15, to then suffer a comeback from Rzeszow thanks to Kalandadze and her points which closes the set and brings the match 1-1. For Conegliano, a great Plummer is not enough to bring the result to 2-0.
- The third and fourth sets are dominated by Conegliano, thanks to the reaction of the Italian panthers with De Kruijf and the usual Plummer who dragged and led the team to close the third and fourth sets taking home the victory.

- 48 hours after the big match against Chieri and with qualification for the quarter-finals already in the pocket, coach Santarelli has to figure out without Robinson-Cook on precautionary rest and therefore puts into play Gennari - Plummer as outside hitters, Haak - Wolosz and Squarcini - De Kruijf as the line up of middle blockers.
- With this, it is the seventh consecutive year that Conegliano qualifies for the Champions League quarter-finals, almost always reaching the bottom of the competition, with the exception of last year (lost against Fenerbace in the quarter finals) and the 2017-2018 year where they lost in the final due to Vakifbank.
- Plummer: "We played a good game and a really good defense, we trained the blocking-defense very well, which hadn’t been possible for a while, which was very good for us because allowed us to change the match and take home the victory, very important for the continuation of our journey in the Champions League."
PGE Rysice RZESZÓW
- Kalandadze: "As expected the match was really hard for us because their level is so high, I’m glad that we win at least one set because they’re the favorite but we could have done much better in some elements of course but the pressure is very high when you play against a certain team and in this kind of arena."
