- A.Carraro Imoco Conegliano is still undefeated in the Champions League and the Italian Championship this season.
- Monica de GENNARO (libero): "The second leg will be a great battle as tradition in the challenges with Vakif, I am sure of that. Vakif is a very strong team that will come to us to overturn the result, they have already done it in the past and we have to start as if we were zero-zero, the first match does not count. Fortunately we will have the strong support of our fans, I know that despite playing at an unusual time the Palaverde will be full, with the push of our people we can repeat the good game in Istanbul and take another step forward in the competition. We are charged up and we are feeling good, we really care about the Champions League and this year we want to go as far as possible in Europe."
