- This is Allianz Vero Volley MILANO's third Champions League participation. Their previous two participations, in 2021/22 and 2022/23, ended in the quarter-finals.

Lodz is a dangerous team, with fast attackers and an old knowledge of the Italian Championship like Diouf. We will play in a packed arena, with a very warm atmosphere. We will have to be orderly when changing the ball and distance it as much as possible their setter from the net”.

ŁKS Commercecon ŁÓDŹ - Allianz Vero Volley MILANO
- Almost 3,000 fans created a fantastic atmosphere at the Sport Arena in Łódź.
- In the second set we saw a turnaround, ŁKS Commercecon Łódź returned to the game after losing the first set and won against the favorite 25:14. In the remaining two sets, the Italians were unstoppable.
- The Italian team played much better with block (14 to 3).
ŁKS Commercecon ŁÓDŹ
- This match was Zuzanna Górecka's comeback. The ŁKS Commercecon Łódź player tore her cruciate ligament in May 2023, underwent surgery and several months of rehabilitation.
- Zuzanna Górecka (outside hitter of ŁKS Commercecon Łódź): "We’ve tried to play our best volleyball. Second set showed that we can fight against best teams in the world. We are happy about this. Of course Vero Volley is more expierienced team. They played better in attack and that was our problem. We have to analyze this match and go fight in Milano.
- Alessandro Chiappini (coach of ŁKS Commercecon Łódź): "I asked to the team to play with the open mind and to push from the beginning and don’t afraid of nothing. We had to accept the risk and deal with some things. We approach realy good in mental way in this game. Our problem was that they put so much pressure in some moments, that we lost a little bit of control."
