• Allianz MTV STUTTGART and Fenerbahce Opet ISTANBUL are drawn together in the Champions League for the second time, after the 2022/23 group stage.
• In the 2022/23 group stage, both teams won their home match against each other (3-2 in Stuttgart, 3-1 in Istanbul).
• Allianz MTV STUTTGART have won one out of six champions League matches against Turkish opposition (all group stage matches), the aforementioned 3-2 win against Fenerbahce Opet ISTANBUL.
• Fenerbahce Opet ISTANBUL have won eight out of 10 champions League matches versus German opposition, with the exceptions being 2-3 against DRESDNER SC in 2014/15 and the aforementioned match against Allianz MTV STUTTGART in 2022/23.

• Allianz MTV STUTTGART have reached the quarter-finals of the Champions League for the fourth time, following 2018/19, 2019/20 and 2022/23. They are yet to win a quarter-finals match.
• Allianz MTV STUTTGART have reached this season's quarter-finals after recording two 3-0 wins against SC POTSDAM in the Playoff round.
• Allianz MTV STUTTGART can win five consecutive CEV Champions League matches for the first time.
• Krystal Rivers scored a total of 150 points in the group stage and Playoff round combined, that is more than any other woman (from the group stage onwards).
• Maria Segura Palleres (captain, OH, #3): "Fenerbahce is a big and famous team with a well-known roster of world class players. I think it will be an amazing atmosphere in SCHARRena, playing at home is giving us extra motivation. I believe in my team, and I know we can show them, what

Fenerbahce Opet ISTANBUL

• Fenerbahce Opet ISTANBUL won each of their six group stage matches by a 3-0 scoreline. They were the only team not to have lost a set in this season's group stage.
• Fenerbahce Opet ISTANBUL were the fifth team to win each of their group stage matches in straight sets in a Champions League campaign, after Asystel NOVARA (4 in 2003/04), Azerrail BAKU (4 in 2003/04), Igor Gorgonzola NOVARA (6 in 2018/19), A. Carraro Imoco CONEGLIANO (6 in 2021/22, including one 3-0 awarded win).
• Fenerbahce Opet ISTANBUL can reach the semi-finals for the eighth time. They progressed to the semi-finals in the last two seasons. On both occasions they were eliminated by city rivals VakifBank ISTANBUL.
• Arina Fedorovtseva was her team's top scorer in this season's Champions League group stage with 61 points, including 12 aces.
• Ana Cristina de Souza (Player of Fenerbahçe Opet): "Today starts the best part of the Champions League. The finals are starting now so we know how important the next matches are for us. From now on every game is one step closer to our biggest goal. We expect a great match."
