- Daniele Santarelli (coach): "It is a match of the highest level, we play against the World Champion team that has been at the top of the international game for years. Great stars have taken turns on the court for Eczacibasi over the years, but their cornerstone has been there since she was a child, I speak of Boskovic a true star, an extraordinary striker who improves from year to year, a top player and the lighthouse of a really powerful attack. They have so many stars, there is the lighthouse. Boskovic, but also a thoroughbred attacker we know like Alexa Gray who we know well how decisive she can be as she showed in our last Italian championship final, a player and a person of whom I have very good memories. Then there are other important players that I know well because I coach them with Turkey and a series of top players to respect, experienced and strong. We will play at home and this is an extra boost for us, the Palaverde has already shown in the quarters how hot it is in the moments that count and at home the "home court factor" can make the difference, we must exploit it with a great game, we really need a choral performance to beat Eczacibasi and our fans can be the extra weapon."

A. Carraro Imoco CONEGLIANO - Eczacibasi Dynavit ISTANBUL
- 5230 fans at the Palaverde (sold out) for the great semi-final show against Conegliano and Eczacibasi.
- First and second set with a sprint start for Eczacibasi who immediately took the lead, but were unable to keep the high level and the Italian panthers team’s reaction was useful: in both sets Conegliano went back ahead and takes the sets to advantages but the home team’s strength and resilience, however, are not enough; thanks to an overflowing Boskovic, the match goes to 0-2.
- Third and fourth set of payback for Conegliano, always leading throughout the set, with the battle Boskovic/Haak and with the entrance of Jolly Lanier from the bench.
- With these two sets won, the panthers’ hopes are still alive, with the match on 2-2.
- Fifth set all to be enjoyed, a real battle between two teams that let nothing to go. Thanks to Baladin and Boskovic, Eczacibasi tried to stay into the game until the end, but it is Conegliano who had the final shot with an incredible Isabelle Haak and won the match 3-2.
- The first leg match of the champions semifinals provided a great spectacle, between two teams that battled to the last ball.
- Appointment for next week to determine the finalist of the competition, with another great battle expected.
