Our team has been set up to compete at the highest level and we must not be satisfied with this result, even if it is of the highest order. Our opponents need no introduction, they have an important roster and like us they will want to get to the Final. It will be essential to get a good result in this first match, to better face the return at Burhan Felek Voleybol Salonu. To do this, we must resist in reception and make the most of their weak points."

Allianz Vero Volley MILANO - Fenerbahce Opet ISTANBUL
Allianz Vero Volley MILANO
- Marco Gaspari: "It went as we had prepared against a team that has immense qualities. We were good at not getting lost in the moments when they pushed the serve. It was a team performance, I really liked the cohesion and discipline we put on the pitch. Even when we were down I never saw the girls get lost. We haven't done anything yet, but it's clear that it was the best possible outcome. It's a result that will count if it allows us to enter the field even more aggressive and decisive in the return match."
- Raphaela Folie: "It was a very tight match. We did well what we had studied, blocking and defense for example. We needed it, because we haven't been doing very well lately and today we received a response from everyone. You could see that everything was working and we were on the pitch for each other. We were good and we deserved this victory."
