KV Drita claim fifth Kosovo national league title in emphatic style

KV Drita GJILAN have claimed their fifth title in the Kosovo women’s national league, doing so after recording three wins in as many matches in the championship series against Pristina M-Technologie. These three straight victories cap a truly extraordinary season for KV Drita GJILAN, who have further cemented their status as the leading force in women’s Volleyball in the Balkan country.

KV Drita started the third and eventual final match of the series scoring ten times in a row in the first set. M-Technologie attempted a comeback and eventually cut their deficit to three points only, but KV Drita ultimately won the opening set 25-22. History repeated itself in the second set, where KV Drita claimed an early 8-1 advantage and stayed in front all the way to a comprehensive 25-17 win. The third set was more competitive, with M-Technologie feeling no pressure at this stage, as they had nothing to lose anymore. They put up quite a fight but KV Drita eventually wrapped it up at 25-19 for a dominant 3-0 victory.
