ACH Volley LJUBLJANA - TRENTINO Itas
- Both ACH Volley Ljubljana and Trentino Itas are ranked first in their home championships.
ACH Volley LJUBLJANA
- Radovan Gačič (coach): "We are aware that Trentino is a team aiming for top positions in the Champions League this year and they are clear favorites before the match in Tivoli. Nevertheless, we want to showcase the best possible game and play at a high level. Trentino is a team where we cannot allow even the slightest lapses in concentration, and we must strive for that. Two new faces have joined the team, in the libero and setter positions. This will bring the necessary freshness and width to the team. I certainly hope that on Wednesday evening, we will witness an attractive volleyball match and once again an exceptional atmosphere in a full Hala Tivoli."
- Matic Videčnik (ACH Volley Ljubljana player): "The last home match of the Champions League at home in Hala Tivoli, where we once again expect an excellent atmosphere and a true volleyball spectacle. To put up a good fight against the Italian team, we will have to play our best game. I think we've had enough time for rest and quality training, so we approach the match with a positive mindset."
TRENTINO Itas
- For the ACH Volley Ljubljana volleyball players, the midweek match of the Champions League in Ljubljana will be the last home game in this season's edition of the elite competition.
- Jan Kozamernik, a player of Trentino Itas, successfully represented the colors of ACH Volley Ljubljana between the seasons 2014/15 and 2016/17.
- Fabio Soli (Trentino Itas Head Coach): "We will take to the field to express ourselves with quality, in order to try to close the discussion linked to the definitive primacy in the group as soon as possible. Although the ranking may suggest otherwise, I believe that it will be a treacherous match, because we will find ourselves playing against a team that will be able to express themselves freely, as they are no longer in the running for qualification. We will therefore have to remain very focused and continue our action with continuity. Maximum effort will be needed".

ACH Volley LJUBLJANA - TRENTINO Itas
ACH Volley LJUBLJANA
- Radovan Gačič (coach ACH Volley Ljubljana): "After a bad start to the match, we managed to relax and play as we know how. This led to an evenly matched battle in the first set with the Trentino team, and towards the end, we had several set points, unfortunately not capitalized. There was a slight dip in our performance, something a team like Trentino exploits quickly. Now, we face an away game in France with a focus on both domestic competitions. Congratulations to the boys for their performance."
- Alen Šketa (player ACH Volley Ljubljana): "We had our chances, especially in the first set, but the Trentino team utilized all their quality and rightfully celebrated another victory in the Champions League. We need to rest and continue our undefeated streak in the domestic league on Saturday."
