“I congratulate the boys on their victory. It was not easy to start this home tournament. There was nervousness and a certain burden, but it is great that we started with a victory. Tomorrow we play against Sweden - which is a strong team too. Now we have to rest well in order to play as good as we can tomorrow, which is very important."

Even though the hosts had to make up for a rough start, with Hungary taking the first set, Team Croatia’s players showed much focus, strength and quality to sweep the next three and secure a much-needed victory which keeps them in contention for a spot in the Final Round.
