The national team under the supervision of head coach Loizos Loizou is working hard with daily double trainings but also with theoretical sessions due to continue until Saturday, July 31, when they will return to Cyprus. The cooperation with the coaching camp of Portaria and the head coach Ioannis Nikolakis started several years ago and the National Team now based in idyllic surroundings, where all facilities and means that contemporary coaching requires are available, will deal undistracted with its preparation for the challenges that lie ahead.

It is worth reminding that Ioannis Nikolakis and his direct associate and physical training specialist Christos Varatasis were at the helm of the Cyprus women’s national team from 2019 to 2020 while last year they coached the team of Neapolis Olympiad in the highest division of the Cyprus national league.

The U16 Cypriot team currently based in Greece comprises the athletes Petroula Themistokleous, Alexandra Fotsiou, Andreana Koukouma, Alexandra Solomonidou, Maria Pefani, Oriana Theodotou, Maria Kokofitou, Kyriaki Vradimirou, Andriana Hatzikonstanta, Hara Christofi, Elita Foti, Eva Irodotou, Michaela Konstantinou, Konstantina Georgiou, Konstantina Symeou and Alexandra Konstantopoulou.
