Vasas Óbuda BUDAPEST - Eczacibasi Dynavit ISTANBUL
- Tijana Boskovič and Alexa Gray led Eczacibasi in the first two sets, as the Turkish team beat the home side with relative ease and with a strong performance.
- Vasas was not going to give up easily though, and cheered on by more than a thousand supporters started showing signs of life in the third set.
- Fatoumatta Sillah played an amazing game for the home side as Vasas stunned Eczacibasi by winning the third set and prolonging the game.
- The fight continued in the fourth set with both Boskovič and Sillah scoring beautiful points in key moments.
- Eczacibasi showed why they are widely regarded as one of the best teams in the world and emerged victorious after winning some of the longest rallies in the game.
- Vasas Óbuda left the court with their head held high and by showing their best performance of the season and deserved every bit of the never ending applause of the home fans after the game.

- Giannis Athanasopoulos: "We didn’t show anything in the first two sets, but our young players brought us back into the game with great individual performances. From the third set, we showed the best volleyball of our season and I’m extremely satisfied and happy about that."
Eczacibasi Dynavit ISTANBUL
- Ferhat Akbas: "The atmosphere was wonderful in the arena. Vasas made our job really difficult as they played an amazing game. In the end we managed to get the win and now we are focusing on the last game of the group stage against Scandicci."
