CEV European Cups 2027 draw coming up on Wednesday at noon!

The Drawing of Lots for the CEV European Cups 2027 will be taking place this coming Wednesday, July 15, starting at noon CEST with the draw for the elite CEV Champions League Volley. This will be followed by subsequent draws for the CEV Volleyball Cup and CEV Volleyball Challenge Cup. As many as 209 clubs have registered for participation in the CEV European Cups 2027. The draw will be streamed live on the official CEV’s YouTube channel from the iconic Broadcasting Centre Europe in Luxembourg City. 

Only a couple of months after the previous season ended with the Final Four tournaments organised in Istanbul and Torino, the DOL will set the tone for another edition featuring the very best of international Volleyball – and with a variety of up-and-coming teams seeking to establish themselves on the international stage as well. 

The reigning Champions League titleholders, VakifBank ISTANBUL and Sir Sicoma Monini PERUGIA, will headline the respective women’s and men’s draws. This past May, VakifBank added another piece of history by claiming a record seventh title in the competition – an unprecedented feat in either gender. PERUGIA, on the other hand, were on a class of their own as they did not drop a single set in the men’s Final Four to secure back-to-back titles. 

Italy’s Gas Sales Bluenergy PIACENZA will try to retain their title in the men’s CEV Cup – whereas the #CEVCupW titleholders Galatasaray Daikin ISTANBUL have received a wildcard to contest the #CLVolleyW this year – so a new champion will emerge in the competition. After sensationally securing a European title in their first-ever appearance in an international competition, Italy’s Megabox group VALLEFOGLIA will hope to keep the trophy of the #CEVChallengeCupW – whereas the men’s Challenge Cup will certainly crown a new winner since Italy’s Allianz MILANO failed to qualify for the CEV European Cups 2027 from their highly competitive domestic national league.
