The long and challenging national league season almost come to an end for the most elite squads of the continent, and this weekend, they will take the court for standing at the top of the podium. Jastrzebski and Perugia will start with an important advantage, but nothing is clear yet in Germany between BR Volleys and Friedrichshafen.

This year’s CEV Champions League Volley SuperFinalist, Jastrzebski Wegiel, will hold their second game in the Polish PlusLiga playoff finals against Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie. After completing the primary phase as leaders, Jastrzebski passed the quarterfinal and semifinal stages with 2-0. In the first game of the final round, they again showed a clearly superior game and took the lead by 1-0 after a three-set victory (3-0: 25-18, 27-25, 25-23).

This weekend, in front of their huge fans, Jastrzebski will play for maintaining their title in Poland. Any victory independent from the score will make them the champions of this season. Being aware of this, they want to play at their highest level without letting Zawiercie extend the series. On the other hand, Zawiercie will push their limits to have another chance for the title in the third game.

There is a similar case for Sir Sicoma Monini Perugia in Italy: In the fourth round of the Italian SuperLega, they will face Mint Vero Volley Monza. Perugia side started the series quite powerful and took 1-0 lead. The second game was quite challenging for both sides, but Monza managed to tie to 1-1 with a vital win in the tie-break. However, the Perugia side did not let the same thing happen once again and became victorious in the third game by a score of 3-1.

Therefore, Perugia is currently 2-1 ahead in the playoff finals in Italy. The fourth game will be played in Monza’s home, and a huge pressure awaits Perugia. Nothing is clear right now for either side, but Perugia will definitely push their limits harder to take the title this weekend.

Berlin Recycling Volley’s comeback continues in Germany: After falling behind 2-0 in the German 1. Bundesliga playoff final series, they managed to win the third and fourth games against VfB Friedrichshafen. The fifth and decisive game will be held in front of BR Volley’s fans since they completed the main phase on top, and they will surely want to take advantage of being at home.

This weekend, we will have a chance to learn the champions of the most prestigious national leagues in Europe, and the favorites will try to complete the tournaments on the top of the podium. We will see if Jastrzebski, Perugia, and BR Volleys can win their games to become champions or if the excitement will continue.
