The #CLVolleyM semifinalists held their first domestic clashes after securing their spot in the top four of the most prestigious tournament in Europe. While Ziraat and Lube maintained their elite performance in their national leagues as well, Jastrzebski failed against Zawiercie in the final of the Polish Cup, and Trentino suffered a shocking defeat against Padova.

The final four of the Polish Cup took place this weekend, and including the CEV Champions League Volley Men semifinalist Jastrzebski Wegiel, the strongest four squads of the country fought to take the crown. In the semifinals on Saturday, both Jastrzebski and Zawiercie took straight-set victories and booked their place in the grand final. On Sunday, these two clubs again took the court, and there was an immense battle for the title. On the other hand, in front of around 14.000 spectators, Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie became victorious by a score of 3-1 (25-22, 20-25, 25-21, 25-20) and became this year's champion in the Polish Cup.

By playing a team game, a total of five players scored in double digits on Zawiercie. Polish middle blocker Milosz Zniszczol was selected as the MVP of the tournament: Including four blocks, Zniszczol produced 11 points and helped his team in this crucial win. Alongside him, Bartosz Kwolek (17), Karol Butryn (12), Trevor Clevenot (12), and Mateusz Bieniek (11) also led their team to the title. French opposite Jean Patry's 20 points were not enough on the Jastrzebski side.

Italy will be represented by two powerhouses in the CEV Champions League Volley Men semifinals, and these two squads played against relatively weaker opponents this weekend in the 22nd round of the Italian SuperLega. While Cucine Lube Civitanova had no difficulties as opposed to Verona and completed the weekend with a straight-set victory, things were different for Itas Trentino.

The current leader of the national league, Itas Trentino, hosted Pallavolo Padova. Trentino mostly played with players different from their usual starting six, and two teams put a great effort to the court in the first two sets, and the game was tied in 1-1. After that point, Padova side clearly started to play a superior game and beat the leader by 3-1 (25-23, 21-25, 25-19, 25-20).

Italian outside hitter Luca Porro became the match's top scorer with 18 points, followed by his teammates Mathijs Desmet (15) and Tommaso Stefani (12). Gabriele Nelli became the most productive player in Trentino with 17 points, and Giulio Magalini and Oreste Cavuto took 14 points apiece.

The weekend was completed in the best way for Lube and Ziraat since they left the court with a 3-0 win in their domestic leagues. On the other hand, Jastrzebski failed the opportunity to take the Polish Cup title since they lost to Zawiercie, and Trentino could not reach the efficient performance to beat their opponent.
