Chinese Volleyball superstar Zhu Ting will be wearing the shirt of the Italian ‘Panthers’ for a third straight season. She completes the roster of A. Carraro Prosecco DOC CONEGLIANO for the 2026/2027 campaign – joining the other outside hitters on the group, namely Gabriela ‘Gabi’ Guimaraes, Anna Piovesan, and Fatoumatta Sillah. The 198cm outside spiker has already played 74 matches with the team, scoring 942 points, including 24 aces and 101 blocks.
The 2016 Olympic champion, two-time World Cup winner and Grand Champions Cup 2017 gold medallist first moved to Europe in 2016 when she joined VakifBank ISTANBUL. With the Turkish club she won the CEV Champions League in 2017 and 2018, two editions of the FIVB Club World Championship – as well as an array of domestic competitions. She returned to China in 2019 playing in Tianjin for two years and missed the subsequent season due to a wrist injury. After playing for two seasons with Savino Del Bene SCANDICCI, she eventually moved to Conegliano, helping the club secure two national league titles, two national cup crowns, 1 Supercup, last year’s CEV Champions League and the 2024 FIVB Club World Championship too.
“After the end of a long and intense season in Conegliano, I took the opportunity to take a break and recharge. But starting today, I begin my personal preparation for next season, focusing on targeted individual work and a programme that will get me back early on so I can be ready for the start of the season,” Zhu said. “My goal is to make a better contribution to the team than last year. I want to stay in shape and refine my game. I want to repeat my first season here: fighting for every title is our goal, and we will work to achieve that and win as many as possible. Greetings to all the fans. I hope you are well and that you will support us at the Palaverde next season. We will do everything we can to repay your support by achieving many new successes.”
