Türkiye prepare for CEV Enel EuroVolley 2026 Men with Denmark friendlies

The men’s national team of Türkiye continue their preparations for the CEV Enel EuroVolley 2026 Men in Ankara, the capital of Türkiye and one of the country’s major Volleyball hubs.

The men’s national team, aka the ‘Efes of the Net’, will play two friendly matches against Denmark on 2 and 4 September as part of their preparations for the CEV Enel EuroVolley 2026 Men, which will be co-hosted by Italy, Bulgaria, Finland, and Romania. Türkiye will compete in Pool D at the #EuroVolleyM, where they will face hosts Romania, France, Germany, Latvia, and Switzerland in Cluj-Napoca. 

Following their historic first-ever VNL Finals appearance and sixth-place finish, the ‘Efes of the Net’ will look to carry their momentum into the #EuroVolleyM and continue the rapid rise of Turkish men’s Volleyball on the international stage.

On Sunday, the players and staff celebrated Victory Day by displaying the Turkish flag during their training session, thereby commemorating the so-called Great Offensive, which culminated in victory under the command of the nation’s founding father, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk.
