CEV U22 Beach Volleyball European Championships is the continent’s championship for players under the age of 22 throughout the calendar year, in which the event takes place. It is an annual event. The right of participation among the 32 main draw teams is based on host country quota, the CEV U22 Country Ranking and possibly qualification matches. The first edition was held in 2000 with an age limit of 23 until it was changed to 22 in 2013.
