The delegation consists of: Angelos Alexiou, Antonis Mavrommatis (Omonia), Sotiris Siapanis, Marios Nikolaou, Georgios Chrysostomou, Lefteris Ioannou (Nea Salamina), Antonis Antoniou (Pafiakos), Konstantinos Skordis, Marios Strugarevich (APOEL), Odysseas Savvidis, Dimitris Karkidis, Konstantinos Iakovou (E.N.P.), Michael Kanaris (Phinikas Pyla), Stefanos Charidimou (Ethnikos Latsion).

The Federation coach along with his assistants saw Greece dismantle Croatia 3-0 in sets on Sunday in Glyfada. Speaking on the website of the Cyprus Volleyvall Federation, Mr. Zalmas said that the Greek National Team impressed him, saying that "it will be a very difficult game. We are going to Athens to fight for the best possible".

Asked if he expects something different from the Greek team, Mr. Zalmas said that "perhaps changes ahead of the next games and we will go prepared".
