The 2026 Beach Volleyball season will feature – along with EuroBeachVolley and the Beach Volley Nations Cup – as many as 15 already confirmed Futures due to take place across a variety of nine countries. The schedule includes the return of many well-established stops of the Beach Pro Tour, plus some locations playing host to an international event of this calibre for the very first time. More such events will be confirmed in the near future for the second half of the year.

As usual, the season will get underway in Madrid with two single-gender events on consecutive weeks, with the men’s competition scheduled for May 7–10 at Parque Deportivo Puerta de Hierro followed by the women’s tournament that will be running from May 14 to 17, 2026.

May’s schedule features another event that has firmly established itself on the international map – with Cervia, a popular seaside resort on the shores of the Adriatic Sea, welcoming a double-gender event from May 28 to 31 at the usual venue set up at Fantini Club.

The first week of June will feature the return of double-gender events to Sveti Vlas, Bulgaria, and to Krakow, Poland, where such competitions have taken place for the last couple of years already. A week later, from June 10 to 14, Latvia’s most popular seaside resort, Jurmala – a place with a deep connection with international Beach Volleyball, since EuroBeachVolley did take place there in 2017 and 2020 before the Nations Cup Final followed in 2024 – will host as many as 24 teams per gender in the Main Draw for the sole Futures on European soil with so many entries.

That same week, the Beach Pro Tour will return to Spiez, Switzerland, albeit this time with a women’s-only event at an iconic venue right by the lake.

If the Greek island of Ios is a very familiar venue for Beach Volleyball teams and a double-gender Future will be taking place there from June 18 to 21, Karpacz in Poland will enjoy its premiere at this level. Actually, the men’s-only competition will be taking place at the very same venue – the stadium named after Olympic champion Irena Szewinska – where last year’s EuroSnowVolleyU20 was delivered with much success. The local organisers will swap the snow for the sand for an eagerly anticipated debut on the Pro Tour.

Following the same model introduced in Madrid, albeit in reverse order, Geneva will host single-gender competitions for women first (June 19-22) followed by a men’s tournament a week later (25-28). That same week will provide even more opportunities for teams to play international matches with Türkiye’s Balikesir hosting a double-gender event a way earlier than it had done in 2024 and 2025 and the absolute premiere of England’s Bridlington. Building on the success and experience gathered last year with the delivery of a stop of the NEVZA Beach Volleyball Tour as well as of the inaugural NEVZA qualifiers for the U18 and U20 European Championships, the English seaside town will be breaking new ground for Beach Volleyball in the British Isles.

The last confirmed events – with more due to follow in due course for the late summer and further beyond – will be held in early July in Messina and Rzeszow. The event in Sicily will again be contested in front of the iconic local cathedral, whereas Rzeszow, a city well-known for its Volleyball prowess with two clubs competing in the elite CEV Champions League Volley, will deliver a Beach Volleyball competition of an international profile for the first time ever.

The summer will be packed with competition opportunities and teams and fans alike can already look forward to a truly exciting schedule ahead!
