CEV launches second edition of webinars designed for Beach Volleyball clubs

The CEV Beach Volleyball Department will soon deliver the second edition of a webinar series dedicated entirely to the development of Beach Volleyball clubs, which will officially start next week. This second series has been designed to provide practical insights, share best practices, and support clubs, coaches, and organisers in key areas such as training efficiency, event organisation, and community engagement. Each session will feature experienced and qualified speakers from across the Beach Volleyball clubs ecosystem, thereby offering both club-level and federation perspectives.

This is the full programme of this second webinar series: 

•    Tuesday, April 21, 11:00 CEST: Dig deep: how clubs are shaping Beach Volleyball -This webinar explores what it takes to build a thriving Beach Volleyball club system and why clubs are so essential to the sport’s development. It will be featuring insights from David Fernandez  (working at the Royal Spanish Volleyball Federation) and Olympian and club owner Alexander Huber of Austria. The session highlights lessons from different national contexts and club experiences. It is designed for anyone interested in growing the game, from club managers and coaches to federation officials. •    Wednesday, April 29, 17:00 CEST: Efficient training for Beach Volleyball clubs: Balancing quality, numbers and sustainability - This webinar explores how Beach Volleyball clubs can deliver high-quality training while remaining financially sustainable. With insights from Italian National Team Coach and Power Beach Founder Matteo Galli with the help of Mattia Matricardi, it focuses on structuring efficient sessions, managing group sizes, and maximising player engagement. •    Monday, May 4, 14:00 CEST: More Than Matches: How Events Drive Beach Volleyball Club Growth - This webinar explores how events can drive growth, visibility, and sustainability for Beach Volleyball clubs while highlighting the responsibilities that come with hosting them. Maya Canet, Operations and Events Manager for Montpellier Beach Volleyball Club, shares practical insights from organising everything from international competitions to community and corporate events in Montpellier. •    Friday, May 8, 13:00 CEST: Beyond the Court: Building Community Through Beach Volleyball - This webinar focuses on how Beach Volleyball clubs can drive social impact by engaging local communities, improving accessibility, and building partnerships with local authorities and stakeholders. Lynne Beattie shares her experience as an Olympian and club founder in Edinburgh, offering practical insights from her work on the ground. The session highlights initiatives for low-income participation, year-round (including winter) activity, and how these elements support long-term player development and club sustainability.
