The tournament was not just a display of great skills, but also showcased fair play, with no cards given by the referees throughout the entire event. The hosts, Ludus, emerged as the champions, defeating Beach Club Patronka from Slovakia in the final, while Telocvicna jednota Sokol Brno of Czechia secured third place.
MEVZA President Valentina Bifflin and Sports Director Frane Žanić presented the medals and trophies to the winners, underscoring the significance of the tournament. It was an excellent platform for the participating teams to showcase their talents and prepare for the upcoming summer season.
In conclusion, Anja Maček from Ludus expressed her satisfaction with the tournament, stating that the home favourites played with optimism and good spirits, which paid off. Congratulations were also extended to all the other teams who participated in the event. The MEVZA Women’s Beach Volleyball Club Championship was a great success and holds enormous potential for the future.
