In Budapest, Norwegians Nils Ringøen and Even Aas were the winners on the men’s side after beating Dutch Tom Sonneville and Quinten Groenewold in the tie-breaker (21-18, 19-21, 16-14) in the gold medal match.

Lithuanians triumph in Warsaw

Lithuania became the only country to win multiple medals over the weekend thanks to the victory of Arnas Rumsevicius and Karolis Palubinskas in Warsaw. To take the title, the two got the better of Ukrainian qualifiers Anton Moiseiev and Vitalii Savvin in the tournament’s final.

Beach Pro Tour Warsaw Futures – Men

Taking up the last spot on the podium in the Polish capital were Estonians Mart Tiisaar and Dimitriy Korotkov, who downed Czechs Krystof Oliva and Vaclav Kurka in the three-set (21-19, 20-22, 15-12) bronze medal match.

Next week, the women will play in Warsaw, with matches going on from Thursday to Sunday.
